Conservation
Hi, I’m Pierre the Penguin! I
was named after the founder of St. Louis, Pierre Laclede. This city
sure has changed a lot since that other Pierre established it in 1764
as a fur trading outpost. I came along much later and, having grown up
on the coast of Antarctica, have been surprised at how cold the St.
Louis winters can be.
A long time ago though, my mom and dad taught me how to stay warm while saving my energy.
