Tips for Drying Clothes

(Be sure it’s okay with Mom and Dad when you use appliances!)

  1. Always put a full load of laundry in the dryer, but avoid overloading it.
  2. Always clean the fuzz out of the lint trap before you dry a load of laundry, it will help the dryer use less energy and clothes will dry quicker. Also, a clogged lint trap is a fire hazard.
  3. Set the timer to medium dry instead of a higher setting because over drying your clothes wastes gas and makes clothes wear out more quickly.
  4. Put your clothes on a line to dry during the winter, it will add moisture to the air inside your home; which tends to be drier in the winter.

Talk to your mom or dad about these 30 Hot Tips and you’ll be just like me—weatherized for winter!
